İŞLETME YÖNETİMİ PROGRAMI KURULUŞ BİLGİLERİ: Programme was founded in 1994 under the name of  Business Administration Programme .It was restructured within the MEB-YOK Project and was renamed as Business Administration Management in academic year of 2003-2004.

KAZANILAN DERECE: Students who complete the programme successfully are given Associate’s Degree of Business Administration Management. 

KABUL VE KAYIT KOŞULLARI: Students are admitted to the program in line with the university entrance exam administered by ÖSYM.

ÖNCEKİ ÖĞRENMENİN TANINMASI HAKKINDAKİ KURALLAR: The students who study at Mersin University may be exempt from some courses according to certain regulations. They may be exempt from the courses if the application is in time and the content is approved by the administrative board of the related vocational school/faculty/institute.

YETERLİLİK KOŞULLARI VE KURALLARI: Students who have passed all of the courses in the curriculum that are 120 AKTS and have achieved a cumulative gross point average of at least 60 out of 100 and have completed the compulsory practical placement period of 40 days will graduate from the programme. But there is an exception that if a student obtains DC (55,00 – 59,99) and DD (50,00 – 54,99 ) from any lesson, to be successful for the course ,His or Her seasonal average cumulative marks has to be at least 60,00.

PROGRAM PROFİLİ: It aims to train qualified intermediate staff  who possess the main principles of Business Administration who can use the related technology on the subject ,can take responsibility of management ,possess legal responsibility and commercial documents ,follow the developments ,possess perfection in Business Administration.

MEZUNLARIN İSTİHDAM PROFİLLERİ: Graduates can work in Accounting ,Marketing ,Human Resources departments in firms.Apart from these they can work as an administrative personel in public instutitions if they obtain the required grade from KPSS.

ÜST DERECE PROGRAMLARINA GEÇİŞ: Graduates can continue their education at First Cycle Degree Programmes such as Business Administration and Economics as long as they obtain the required grade from DGS(Exam for Admittance to Bachelor’s Degree Programs). Also they can continoue Open Education Faculty at Bachelor’s Degree of any programmes without an examination.

MEZUNİYET KOŞULLARI: Requirements and regulations  explained at ‘Qualification Requirements and Regulations Chapter’ are sufficient.

BÖLÜM OLANAKLARI: There are 3 teaching staff within the department. In addition to 2 laboratories consisting of 63 computers with a continuous internet infrastructure, there are peripherals such as projectors, printers and scanners.

History
The program was founded in 1994 under the name of Business Administration Program. In the 2003-2004 academic year, it was restructured under the name of MEB-YÖK Vocational Schools Program Development Project and the name of the program was changed to Business Administration Program, and in the 2009-2010 academic year, it continues its activities under the name of Business Administration. 4 academic and 1 administrative staff work in the program.
Qualification Awarded
Students who complete the programme successfully are given Associate’s Degree of Business Administration Management.
Admission Requirements
Students are accepted to the program through the YKS exam conducted by ÖSYM.
Higher Grade Transition
Graduates can continue their education in various undergraduate programs (Business, Economics, etc.) if they are successful in the DGS exam. In addition, they may have the opportunity to directly continue to an undergraduate education program in open education programs.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete all courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 135 ECTS) and complete a 40-day professional internship are awarded an associate degree.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates have the opportunity to work in different departments of various companies, such as accounting, marketing and human resources. Additionally, they have the opportunity to work as administrative personnel in public institutions if they get the required score from KPSS.
Assessment and Grading
There are midterm and final exams for all courses each semester. The measurement and evaluation methods applied for the courses are defined in detail in the "Course Curriculum".
