About Programme
|
Bilgisayar mühendisliği alanında yeni teknolojilerle isim yapmış bir bölüm haline gelmek ve bu teknolojileri toplumsal faydalara dönüştürecek mezunlar yetiştirmek.Bölümü, pratik ve teorik bilgiye dayalı yeni teknolojiler ışığında dünya standartlarında içeriklerle sürekli güncellemek. Aktif eğitim araçlarının kullanımını arttırarak, sorgulayan, araştıran, üreten ve birikimini sosyal yararlara dönüştüren mezunlar yetiştirmek. Mesleki, etik ve ülke sorunlara karşı hayat boyu öğrenmeyi kendisine rehber edinmiş mühendisler yetiştirmek.

History

Computer Engineering Department was established in 1994, accepted its first freshman students in 1996-1997 academic year and has given its first graduates in 1999-2000 academic year.

Admission Requirements
|
After completing high school or equivalent, students must have adequate points on “Student Selection and Placement Exam of Turkey”
|
Higher Grade Transition
|
Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in graduate (master's and doctoral) programs, provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam and have sufficient English language knowledge.
|
Graduation Requirements
|
Students having successfully completed all the courses (for a total of 240 ECTS) at least 60 out of a 100 weighted GPA are awarded by Bachelor's Degree.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
The graduates of the department can find positions in both the government agencies and the private industry. The graduates generally find job opportunities in different positions such as computer engineer, information systems engineer/specialist, and system controller.
