Assessment and Grading
In the Psychology Master's Program, student success is determined according to the measurement and evaluation principles established for each course.
For each course, the grades students receive from their work throughout the semester (midterm exams, assignments, research proposals, projects, presentations, etc.) are taken into account. The success grade is calculated as a weighted average of these assessments.
To pass a course, a student must meet the success criteria determined by the course instructor and achieve a minimum GPA of BB (70/100).
Thesis projects are directed by the student's thesis advisor and are evaluated as "pass" or "fail" following a thesis defense in front of a jury. Students who successfully complete all courses, totaling 120 ECTS credits, and who pass their thesis defense unanimously or by majority vote are eligible for graduation.
